013 - The UK imports a fair amount of electricity

The United Kingdom is electrically connected to four different regions - France (two gigawatts), the Netherlands (one gigawatt), Northern Ireland (500 megawatts) and the Republic of Ireland (500 megawatts, 'East-West').
